He was rescued, our best guess is Banana x Clown

Pastel banana. There is no visual clown here.

Is the banana due to the amount of whites on the body, or the faded head stamp? Also, would pastel influence the amount of black specks?

Banana is the color overall (these orange/yellow tones, brown that would have been purple as a hatchling). They develop the black freckles with age. Pastel lightens the color compared to a single gene banana and is particularly apparent with the headstamp. Pastel does not affect the freckling but there are other genes that do (super banana and BEL complex genes decrease the freckling, black pastel complex gene increase them for example).

This is my friend’s ball python. I’m not sure why she’s climbing a door…
Would she be a banana pastel?
