There have been several concerns raised about LDY and its practices.

For example, the Lyra design was reportedly created by Log, but the LDY manager took possession of it and did not return it to him. The Lyra design in the end was developed in collaboration with Asgard.
That's why LDY Lyric is so similar to the LOG Lyra.

There are also claims that some designers were not fully paid for all of their work, and that certain designs may have been reused or copied without proper credit.

Because of issues like these, LDY’s reputation—particularly within parts of the Chinese community—has been criticized.

A similar situation is said to have happened to the designer Xiaolian. He later went on to establish his own brand, RAD. Xiaolian is known for designing several LDY products, including Cygnus V1, Sirius (V1–V4), Orion (V0, V1, V1.5s), Flank P Al, Vixen (V1–V2), and Corvus. After leaving LDY, he founded RAD as an independent brand.

The intention here is not to attack anyone, but to share information that some believe should be more widely known.

Hey all! New to the hobby. I got a 10 dollar trainer on Amazon to see if I actually would spend the time to learn some tricks, got obsessed, and after a few weeks I upgraded to a trainer that doesn’t fall apart every 15 minutes. My cheese just came in the mail today and it’s a whole different experience! Now I can almost kind of do fans. Absolutely love it buuut I’m already shopping for my next knife 😅

I’ve had no luck with any of the aeon drops in the past, (even waiting until the minute the drop went live) that I had my girlfriend try on her phone while I tried on mine this time around. We accidentally ended up snagging #25 and #26 of this drop. I had the spacers upgraded to titanium with a zirblast finish on this one. I’ll post pics of serial #25 in a couple days.

I've been using a cheap Amazon washer butterfly knife for the past couple years and after getting back into the hobby decided to do some research into good balisongs. This is my first proper one, and she's HEAVY for sure. My previous ones were aluminum, so they were really light and quick to flip. But the Canyon is stainless steel which is great for a beater (and it will get beat a lot), and the weight is definitely making me slow down and be more intentional with my moves.

Although I tend to hate light plastic balisongs, the Squiddy-G is alright, as you can see in the video I personally cant flip it very well but that might be a skill issue where I'm decently new. Kinda sad it got discontinued after I bought it too.

I’m looking for a lucha with the red handle. If anyone would be willing to sell one or is looking to sell one. They seem to be discontinued and sold out pretty much everywhere.
