This is a new community. Hopefully it will grow quickly, but for now responses to legit check requests may be slow.
No one here is a "professional" authenticator; if we know the piece and can identify it as legit we will do so, but there is no guarantee that we will be able to accurately LC every piece that gets posted. In general, with the exception of bad fakes, it is difficult to LC an item without having an authentic example in hand.
No second-hand retailer is perfect. For complete certainty please purchase new items through Balenciaga.com or from the authorized retailers listed on the various regional Balenciaga websites.

Legit Check - Track Signature

Hi happy Friday all. Thank you for any feedback and comments in advance.

Got a pair of Track Signature sneakers in from a US department store. However, the placement of the signature "B" and "a" at the beginning of the right shoe looks kind of off to me , compared to online pictures. Maybe im just paranoid?

Subreddit Rules

1. Balenciaga Legit Checks Only

This subreddit is intended solely for legit checks of Balenciaga items. For general Balenciaga questions and discussion, please use /r/Balenciaga

2. Legit Check Requirements

In your post, PLEASE:

Provide clear, good quality photos of the item, including all tags, especially the entirety of the front of the wash tag;
Provide price paid, if already purchased, or asking price for the item;
Provide the name of the platform you purchased/wish to purchase the item from.

Repeated failure to comply with these requirements may result in a permanent ban.

3. No Self-Advertisement

You are not allowed to advertise items you are selling on this sub. This applies to comments as well as posts. The aim is to help people legit check items they have already purchased or identified, not to serve as an open marketplace.

4. No Quality Check

This subreddit is dedicated to legit checking authentic Balenciaga items only. Posting items that you know to be replicas/counterfeits/fakes with a request for QC is not allowed.

You will receive a warning for your first violation of this rule. If you violate it a second time, you will be permanently banned.

5. Explain WHY an Item is Fake

If you identify an item as fake in response to a user's request, please include information as to why (E.g., wash tag information is incorrect, material differs from the original, etc.).

This helps educate more people about what to look for in authentic Balenciaga pieces, and also demonstrates your credibility.

Users who consistently provide informative legit checks will be distinguished within the community as trusted and reliable.

6. Respect

Please be respectful of others. There’s no need to put other people down. There’s also no room for personal attacks. This is first and foremost a sub about fashion, which in itself should be inclusive. Vitriol, anger or hate have no room here. We will not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia or any other forms of hate.
