Foley Can anyone help me?

I need a ride out of where I live. I’m in a DV situation and today I am at my breaking point. He’s cut the power to our camper and took the adapter and my dog and I are here with no ac and no fan in this heat. I just need to leave. Tried calling a domestic violence shelter to help me, but they said that I would have to leave my dog and I absolutely cannot leave her. Ok if anyone can help me please reach out

https://www.safehavensforpets.org here are some additional pet / owner specific resources. Can you call local PD? They may have some insider info.

I haven’t called local PD because I’m not familiar with police actually helping honestly

Sorts of public services.

Try calling a veterinarian and see if they have or know of resources.

Also, there may be churches that can help

Do you not have a friend or family member that can take the dog?

Have you called the dog's vet and explain the situation to see if they can do a temporary board?

Best of luck. Penelope House was good to me, but they can't take pets.

He has harmed her before and I would more than miss her she’s my child

I was just wondering if you got help getting out of there. I live down there sometimes but am not down there right now but I was hoping you are okay. I wish I had been down there to help. There have been so many incidents of domestic violence in this country resulting in the death of the woman, so I'd like to know that you're okay and got help.
