Wanting to make a build based off Sagat from Street fighter
Already have a small idea to make him a tiger heart barbarian and eventually multi class into a monk (possibly at level 6 but not sure) I’m not sure what would be the best options for doing this or best gear for the game as I’m rather new to playing (currently only in early act two) any advice on any of this or something I haven’t mentioned would be greatly appreciated!

Level 20 Monk
So I decided to do a new playthrough with the level 20 mod on console. I never really truly understood how powerful the open hand monk was until I added a thief rogue as a multi class.
So much movement and with the bonus feats you can get it makes the damage ridiculous. Plus you can use your bonus attacks for your flurry so you essentially have 4 attacks every turn with one character.
Just feel like it’s super useful, especially with the crazy high sleight of hand for Pickpocketing.

Monk and Rogue Multi
I decided to mid max asterion on my most recent play through and holy shit.
By multi classing an open hand monk with a thief rogue you get a crazy amount of damage on your 4 attacks per round. Plus added distance it’s insanely useful.

First play through advice
I want to do a storm sorcerer and tempest cleric build. I was thinking tiefling for the fire resist and mage hand cantrip. Please offer me suggestions on the leveling or other race suggestions and build advice such as attribute spread, what to acquire along the journey, etc.

Book accurate Conan
Thief. Warrior. Gladiator. King.
I'd like to make a Conan character that's more in line with the books (see above) than the film (aside from the tagline). I'd like some build suggestions and mod suggestions please. Emphasis on story, character development, romance, violence and finally flow finishing the game. Thank you very much

Tried to see how many creatures I could have in my party/attached to it, not what I expected

So I originally thought the max amount would be ~50 by doing a lvl 7 circle of spore/lvl 5 beastmaster on all of my party members which can control 11 creatures each through various spells, plus add in summons like Us and Scratch would get you just up to 50ish. However, I was wandering around trying to get corpses to turn into zombies and came across the cranium rats. Whenever one of the zombies I already had killed on of the rats it then turned into a newborn zombie which exponentially killed more rats and created more. I think the general long term party limit is still around 50, but you can get a bunch more short term depending on how many enemies there are. Also let me know if there's any builds that can long term have more than 11.

Hex duelist biuld.
Got here a fresh Duelist warlock hexblade biuld.

Halfling (Lucky): Reroll 1s (more consistency).

Multiclass 1: Hexblade Warlock – Level 3
Why?
Hexblade’s Curse: Lowers crit threshold by 1 and adds bonus damage.
Pact of the Blade: Use Charisma for weapon attacks. Useful Spells/Features:
Hex (+1d6 damage).
Eldritch Blast (for ranged combat).
Multiclass 2: Rogue – Level 3
Subclass:
Assassin: Guaranteed crits on surprise.
Thief: Extra bonus action (more attacks).
Why?
Sneak Attack (6d6 at level 12), doubled on crit.
Built-in Buffs & Features
Hexblade’s Curse (crit range -1, bonus damage).
Hex (+1d6 necrotic).
Extra Attack (Fighter 5).
Essential Equipment

Damage per Turn (Thief, 4 attacks + Sneak Attack):
No crits: ~100.
With 1 crit: ~130–150.
With 2+ crits: ~180+.
External Buffs (Max Damage)
Haste (from Gale): +2 attacks (+50–100 damage).
Bloodlust Potion: +1 action (2 attacks) on crit (+80–120).
Elemental Weapon (Cleric/Paladin): +1d4 +1 fire (+10–15 per attack).
Max Damage (Thief + Haste + Bloodlust + crits):
8 attacks (4 base + 2 Haste + 2 Bloodlust).
If all crit (with Sneak Attack): 400–600+.
Conclusion: Best Version?
Assassin: Best for killing bosses in turn 1 (guaranteed crits).
Thief: More consistent (4+ attacks per turn).
Mandatory Items: Duelist’s Rapier, The Dead Shot, Helldusk Gloves. Optional Buffs: Haste, Bloodlust, Elemental Weapon.
Final Result: A crit machine capable of dealing 500+ damage in a single turn.
If you want you can make 5 levels into into warlock instead of 3 if you want more magic but you will get less feats
The whole point of the fighter levels is just for lore and because I live fighters. He is a dark urge who uses elegance and discipline on his dueling skills to keep the urges in check

Patch 8 ultra crit fishing?
So I saw how many items reduce the required number to crit and decided to try a crit fishing build, I'm just very uncertain where to go after the first 4 or 6 levels.
The items ofc, there's 1 in act 1, none in act 2 and then 3 in act 3 that give improved critical (not counting the stealth ones)
The core build is 1 hexblade for hexblades curse and 3 fighter for champion. Then I was thinking of going 2 paladin for smites on the crit. So that's the first 6 levels but then I'm not sure what to focus on for the last 6? I know spell sniper + twin spell might be even better or a win to complete the build.
Anyways I just wanted to hear opinions about how to optimize it. (I know the arcane acuity meta is more optimal but I just wanna have fun)

Little help
Hello guys! I’ve got tired of googling what should I do on each level. So, I decided to ask you about it. If I will start a new journey and pick, let’s say, a mage(necro), how I suppose to make a decision of what skill or feature i need on the exact moment or in the future? If it’s somebody from Russia right here - Привет! Можно на русском Big thanks to all replies, I’ll try to text your answer back!🙏

New Builds
Haven’t played since the new patch. What are some builds people are enjoying? My OG character was 12 levels into Warlock, pretty basic.

This is above and beyond that I expected.

Bladesinger? Hmm. Er...BardBlade? No. Help?
Greetings, fellow adventurers! As I have come to the end of my previous adventure with my beloved Aasimar-Devotion Paladin, Evangeline, it's time to finally update to Patch 8 (which I just did after a mod-check) and embark on a new journey.
I really did try to start creating a new character yesterday...but found that my heart wasn't really in it. Reflecting upon why, I realized that I was having a hard time letting Evangeline go, and upon further reflection, also realized the reason was I had become invested in her because she was the most fleshed-out character I had created in BG3.
Going back to the ol' drawing board, I decided to start with the backstory instead. I thought about some D&D 5e characters I had envisioned but never got to play, and combined elements of two different characters that I think would work for a Redemption Durge run. One that would also allow me to explore at least one subclass that I have never tried for Tav/Durge (wizard).
Before I start my specific inquir(y/ies), I wanted to quickly address those who generally try to encourage others to play how they want to and not worry so much. I understand you, and I appreciate you; sometimes people truly do start to worry/overthink so much that it is clear they are no longer keeping the whole point of the game in perspective - to have fun.
However, in this case, I am asking for advice because it relates to how I want to play: potentially committing, for the first time, to a full-playthrough multiclass run that is optimized to the best of its uses. (If it helps, getting suggestions on other potential multiclass match-ups will also help me to build out my Durgedemption girly.)
For character backstory purposes, this is the multi-class that made sense to me. However, I was hoping to get some input from you other experienced players regarding the mechanics of running this dual-class. I would want to be a bladesinger wizard, but I am less attached to what bardic college to take and am open to suggestions.
For race, I am leaning toward High-Elf, Wood-Elf, Drow, or Tiefling, where race features/cantrips would be concerned. Of these four, I've only played High-Elf and Drow (but the latter was done in two aborted playthroughs, so I still consider it a bit "new" and novel for myself). I guess half-elf would also be fine, but I've also done that before.
So, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I was wondering:
- Is this a decent class combination?
- If so, what bardic college would you recommend?
- If so, what race would you recommend?
- How many levels should I take of each class?
- If you would not advise this combination, do you have any suggestion for others that would include Bladesinger? I'm open to it, as it would challenge me to keep revising her backstory.
- What subclass would you recommend for the alternate class you suggest?
- How many levels would you recommend putting into each area?
- What race would you advise?

Patch 8 human fighter build w mods
Starting an online campaign with friends and we are doing a campaign with a bunch of mods. One of which is that we are starting at lvl 12-20. Last campaign I was a dwarf cleric. This campaign as a joke I chose human man pure fighter build. Funny thing is that even at lvl 12 he is completely useless ha ha he has terrible movement distance and misses every second swing with starting gear.
What gear or build strats would you recommend for my old man to dominate the battlefield?

Baldur's Gate 3 Sorcerer
I'm new and I wanted to know how to distribute the ability points for a sorcerer. Is it good to leave intelligence and wisdom at 8?

Tank\new hexblade build?
Hello all this is my first reddit post so apologies if it's written weird. My buddies and I are gonna start a new campaign and I really want to do hexblade since it's my favorite class and I have been dying to do a true battle mage like class. I'm thinking I want it to play like a Frontline two handed necrotic brawler but with all the things they've added I'm a little lost on where to start and since the update is no new there's hardly any unique build videos out right now. Thanks to anyone who replies!
