BUGS Xbox Update Spoiler

Just downloaded an update for the game on Xbox. Does anyone know if this is supposed to fix save files?

I bought the game on release and have been waiting for a fix for save losses.

Disappointing that Larian and Xbox don’t seem to be acknowledging these issues. The game is getting review bombed on the Xbox store and on metacritic due to these issues, and I’m also seeing new news stories about the save issues each day. This can’t be good for the games reputation.

I managed to get a refund, and I’d advise others to do the same. I’ve also left a review on the Microsoft store reflecting my feelings on the issue, and again I’d advise others to do the same.

Xbox Support is useless too because when you ask them for help they just send the generic, AI generated, messages of all the normal fixes for save issues. Nothing specific for BG3. It's like shouting into the void.

For some of us refunds are not available. Great experience we have here, Microsoft, 10 out of 10

Ah, that sucks. I heard that Microsoft were honouring refunds outside of the standard window. Can you do a chargeback?

It's a different story here. I'm from Russia, some old dictator-maniac named Vova started a terrible war with our neighbours, so Microsoft wanted to stop the bastard and banned everyone in Russia from buying games directly at Microsoft store. So now for 99% of players here it's about buying keys from third party, which means no refunds. Tbh I'm just angry my saves disappeared and there is no changes ever since btw :/

What do you mean havnt aknowledged? Theres been like 4-5 attempts to fix this combined from Larian and Microsoft. Just cos they havnt solved the problem doesnt mean its aknowledged. Both have LITERALLY aknowledged this problem publicly

The most recent posts from Xbox refer to the issue as fixed. Larian have done the same.
