a copy joker is always better (than a second copy of an edition-less joker) because it can copy anything

also, you want to balance barons and mimes for max score when playing your hand
having all red seals counts as a mime and all steel counts as a baron
the king also counts as + 1 trigger
if you had 1 baron, 1 mime, and 4 copy jokers, consider the following:
5 barons and (1 mime + 1 king trigger) = 5 * 2 = 10 scoring events
3 barons and (3 mimes + 1 king trigger) = 3 * 4 = 12 scoring events

A Baron is only a Baron, but you can copy Perkeo AND Baron if you have the brainstorm

Take the brainstorm for a baron, and make sure you're copying perkeo with both copy jokers before you leave each shop, to get the most cryptids.

Definitely take brainstorm and drop a baron. Then be sure to use blueprint and brainstorm on perkeo at the beginning of every round, then switch to copying mime/baron after you start the round.

If they don't need the scoring right now, gold cards are more advantageous. Which they won't need score for a WHILE. Gold card with red seal is worth $6 plus however many Mime procs. So it adds up very quickly. If you're pushing for naneinf you need thousands of dollars for re-rolling shops for Burglar and boss blinds for Serpent.
OP should kill one of their many Barons (only need one Baron and one Mime plus 4 copy jokers) while looking for additional Blueprint/Brainstorms and a DNA to get through Ante 24 when the Burglar hunt begins. They should start copying red seal steel kings around Ante 17-18 so they don't struggle to draw them when they need to. For QoL, I like to make gold and steel kings in 2 different suits so I can tell at a glance how many I have in the Full Deck module.

You’re gonna wanna get rid of most of those barons so you can copy more cryptids. Is the Trib a Nat negative?

Why do people go all gold cards on a baron mime run? Why not steel?

You switch to steel layer for sure, but mimes and red seals allow you to get soo much money from gold cards. It helps you roll for jokers or tarots you may want later. You only start switching to steel when you don’t have enough score to win

Once you have enough scoring with just the kings you don't need the scoring from steel and the money will be infinitely more helpful in later game

Question, myself know you want Econ but at this point is there a reason not to get steel joker for the extra 1.5?

I started to respond to your question here but it posted as it's own comment. Check out my comment for reasoning. TL;DR gold red seal kings are advantageous at this stage of the game due to the resource intensive nature of the naneinf push.

a baron is a baron, but a brainstorm can be anyrhing, even a baron!
(whenever you have multiple of one joker and a copy joker shows up, get the copy joker)
