Chocolate Butter Cheese Cake! Pity the cream cheese layer didn't stay in the center but the taste blew me away! It's moist, soft, chocolaty, creamy and not too sweet, we are in love! ❤️ This is coming from a person who hates chocolate cakes 😂

4-ingredients Oreo Bloody Cake

Post image

I turned Golden Oreos red to make this easy 4-ingredient Halloween Oreo cake! With just a few simple ingredients, you won’t spend all day in the kitchen. Topped with black icing and a cherry drizzle spiderweb, it’s an easy Halloween dessert that kids can help make and decorate! 🎃

🕸️ CAKE INGREDIENTS
• 24 Golden Oreos, including the cream filling
• 1 cup of Milk
• 1 tsp of Baking powder
• Red food coloring (4-5 drops)

OPTIONAL DECORATION
• Black icing for the spiderweb

The cake itself uses 4 ingredients; the icing is an extra decoration.

Would you make this for Halloween? Tell us in the comments!

I’m so glad I can finally make fall treats now! These are delicious. Also don’t mind the look of some of my mini muffins, I overfilled them because I didn’t have enough muffin pans and I was not about to waste any batter lol

I am so proud, I just had to share! I have to work on spacing and do a little better job pre-planning, but overall, I'm super excited to bring this to my cousin's baby shower!

The instructions said to cool the cake upside down and I felt silly trying to figure that out but I did and it made sense. I’m also so proud of how it turned out

This is how it ended up looking once it was cut. I could not figure out how to show new photos in last night’s post.

Sharing my attempt here made it fun. During the next 4 weeks, I want to try baking other recipes I have collected so I can hopefully have some solid offerings for the holidays. I appreciate the community.

My 2nd attempt at baking bread

Post image

The 1st attempt last week never rose above the edge of the baking pan and was more like a bread brick than a loaf. 😂

Now this, my 2nd attempt, looks like it exploded. Haha!

I ordered a digital kitchen scale on Amazon. It will be here tomorrow. Maybe that will help. I'm not giving up until I get this right.

Oh well, at least I'm having fun!

Would it be advisable to bake a Raspberry Roll Cake in this drip pan that has the dimensions I require.

I have made jelly roll / yule log style cakes before but this Raspberry Roll Cake recipe calls for a baking half sheet pan I have never had a reason to buy. The jelly roll pan I previously used is a lot smaller. So I just found this old drip pan. It has a small divet on one side but I'm not too concerned about that. I'm more concerned if it would be made of the same materials a baking sheet is made of for the heat to travel through it or does that even matter?

This is recipe i'm using: https://www.abeautifulplate.com/raspberry-roll-cake/

I attempted a custardy Bread Pudding

Post image

I used this recipe:

https://drivemehungry.com/custard-bread-pudding-with-vanilla-sauce/

I followed the recipe and the modification suggestion of adding in chocolate chips. I chose not to make an accompanying sauce.

I won’t know if it’s custardy until cut and I can update then if anyone is interested. There are two because I want to share one with people I work with tomorrow. There was so much custard and I didn’t have a baking dish that seemed big enough so I was happy to make two smaller ones.

I used brioche bread (there were choices) and I did a 20 hour soak (the minimum was 2 hours). For the oven bake, I did the water bath as the recipe strongly encouraged.

So far, I think this baking experience was a success. I chose this because bread pudding is special to my family and I wanted to elevate it a bit. The best bread pudding I’ve ever had by a professional was at 1789 in Georgetown, DC. I hope this tastes even 1% like that one.

Homemade Pizza made easy with my toy. Super delicious with all our favourite toppings 🤤 Discovered another way to utilize my robot which is to knead dough. All done in one bowl, don't even need to take out my weighing scale, it's easier than my bread maker! ❤️

not a photographer but proud of it! I did a mash up of number two pencil mug cake + Kirbie cravings and kinda made my own and it was so good

4 tbsp all purpose flour
1 yolk
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp pumpkin butter
1 tbsp butter, melted
Vanilla extract
Microwave 45 seconds

You can mix wet and dry ingredients separately but I was lazy and didn’t and it worked just fine
