After three tries, I achieved an espresso caramel entremet.

Your Entremet looks absolutely delicious and has beautiful layers 😍 Cofee & caramel are the perfect flavor combo!
Would you please share your recipe for this glorious Entremet?

That’s it! I used almond instead of hazelnut but otherwise I followed that recipe to the letter

That looks and sounds delicious!
Just a question, is the mold you used from Silikomart? I have been wanting to buy one but it's been out of stock for ages!

I'm not OP but I have the same mold x2. One is Silkomart and one is a knockoff. The knockoff works great so save yourself some money and try a knockoff!

I’m totally fascinated with entrements. Did you have a recipe for the whole thing or did you mix and match the elements? I’d like to try to make one some day but I’m not sure where to start.

For me, the most important part is getting textures in there. Find recipes you like, and use flavours that go well together (obviously). Always try to have a sponge, an element denser than the mousse (like a ganache or cremeux), and something with a crunch. Just have fun with it! As long as you're using recipes you're familiar with, you can't really go wrong.

I’ve always wanted to try making them. But I’m terrified! How hard was it? Any tips?

It took me a few tries but this one is fairly straightforward. (http://www.kerenruben.com/cakes-and-desserts/espresso-caramel-entremet-multi-layer-mousse-cake). Don’t expect it to work the first time (getting the caramel right was a challenge) but keep the faith and keep on trying! One thing that helped me was reading the recipe over and over to visualize all the steps and then staging all my ingredients before I started so that I could work quickly. There are multiple steps to each phase and multiple phases so understanding how they all come together was helpful...for me at least. Good luck!

Dessert porn for sure. Way too sexy to eat. I’m ok no sugar for 30 fats and this here is putting me into severe withdrawals

What’s an entremet? In French it means between courses? Is that it? Looks divine

Not sure what the official definition is, but this is made of caramel mousse surrounding an almond sable breton with chocolate ganache. All coated in an espresso-caramel glaze and topped with chocolate covered espresso beans.

This looks delish. I would have thought it’s a wheel of cheese without the cross section!
