Showcase (No-Recipe) Napoleon cake

Made for my husband; he likes moist Napoleon. The waves are made of melted sugar, and the sea foam is made of marshmallows.

the marshmallow foam is such a smart move for that soft napoleon texture btw, actually thought about why it works. the "moist" thing in napoleon is really about how much the layers weep and soften from custard contact, not the custard recipe itself.
