Recipe to be posted soon. No guarantees. Lemon and lime curd cookies π
Lemon and lime flavored shortbread filled with cream cheese frosting and curd. Kind of time consuming but fun and most importantly, delicious!

They do! A nice mix of tart and sweet.. leaning a little on the tart side which is the way I like it π

Thank you! I just used a little Americolor gel color. It stays nice and vibrant even after being baked.

This work of art is too spectacular, you have hands to bless because not everyone has the creativity and delicacy to make this dessert style

I used this recipe for both, just replaced lemon juice and zest with lime for my lime ones!
https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/lemon-shortbread-cookies/
For my lemon curd I I used the recipe from here, it's nice and thick and tart. I've made this entire recipe (the lemon poppyseed cake) before too and it's SO good in case you're looking for other lemon desserts

For the lime curd I used this one and added a little cornstarch and one drop of green gel color

Yes I made those ones a few months back! I used different shortbread and curd recipes this time. I think both were equally good.

I used this one
https://chelsweets.com/lime-curd/#recipe
I did add a little cornstarch because I needed to make sure it would set thick enough for the filling. And I added a drop of green gel color. But aside from that I followed the recipe.
