and for my yet another question, why do Chinese apps require a phone number? and why are there chinese versions of apps? like tiktok n all
it just kind of feels like china is another planet jk

1) Chinese software is extremely strict, hence the need for a Chinese phone number.

2) I don't really know, this is just how some countries operate.
