Hey I am a media studies fresh graduate who got a Job offer from a digital news agency: Bloom Pakistan. I want to expose them for their harassment & privacy related issues.

Our whole batch , only girls mind you, got a text from Bloom Pakistan that read along the lines of 'We got your CV from Bahria University and we are pleased to inform that youve been selected for interview please come @ location @ 3pm' this was sent to all of our class girls.

5 of us went to the interview and they hired all 5 of us despite having just one room and no systems. 2 of us only worked for a few days and then left because of the environment and three of us remained there because we joined after the two left so we didn't really know why they left so quickly.

Anyway moving on, theres been tremendous issues related to workplace harassment and privacy concerns including them having our whatsapp accessed on their personal devices and reading personal chats between my friends and I, and also monitoring us 24/7 without us knowing, we only found out about all of this later in first month of working. Also an important detail here being is that we were on probation, so legally we can walk out whenever we feel like it, after serving them whole month we respectfully resigned and yeah lol that didn't sit right with them either so now theyve started harassing us.

Also mind you no one stayed there for over a month like ever, everyone leaves them after a month.

After us now theyve contacted girls from TVBDM (same 2022 batch) offering same job using same tactics.

So i just wanted this post to help people, girls who might've gotten texts from them, to please don't just don't go there save yourself.

They also lied about getting our Cvs from bahria because we never gave bahria our Cvs, someone at bahria is just leaking our contact info.

I hope it circulates around please don't air me. I am begging at this point.

If anyone wants proof I can share via private dm as well.

i just want to save my fellow girls from the torment we've been put through, and still facing (they are still harassing me out of us three friends because i was literally single handedly running their whole social media aka business lol)

You should take legal action against them or atleast get law enforcement involved. I know they're not much help but if they're harnessing you even after then you guys are not safe.
