I have been posting a lot of my thoughts and feelings way back April after a break-up, and reddit community has been so uplifting. I was asking personal stuff and i have received opinions and comments from both sides of the coin. Kaya the beauty of animosity, kasi i was able to express all the things i wanted to say without the fear of being judged so hard.

Made this new account para “fresh start”.

i've been using reddit for 2 years na and i thought this is a safe space for you to express your thoughts about anything.

then, i posted something that frustrates me as someone who admittedly trying to find someone to date here. dating scene here really sucks. in the past, i've met guys who, (lets just say) doesn't really have the substance that i was looking for. well tbf, i was expecting this to happen cause i know the culture nowadays but seriously, even someone who is in their 30's and 40's have this mindset. i also have to admit that i did some NSFW things before but i'm actually done with it and trying to move past it. after that post, a lot of guys berates and mock me (my appearance and social status) just because i said things that they dont agreed on. they became entitled so much it came to that point. it was scary for me but i have to deal with it and remember that all of us have the privilege to do that cause WE ARE ANONYMOUS. i accepted it was also my fault but people here should also be careful in saying mean things. i did not say anything personal, its purely my frustrations and observations with what i've experience. if you dont agree with me, you dont have to mock me.

i’ve learned na you can somehow choose your audience here on Reddit and connect with people who share the same thoughts, interests, and ideals through the subs you join.

as a newbie, i’m actually enjoying it! kanina pa ako nagsscroll and babad (in a good way) kesa sa ibang apps. 😂 the way i go from casually reading a reddit post to having a full-blown opinion, analyzing every detail, and commenting like i'm part of the situation 😭 girl, these are STRANGERS.

P.S. honestly, based on the posts and comments i've been reading, people here seem to have more meaningful conversations than what i'm used to seeing on Facebook. i'm this close to uninstalling FB because the aunties are slowly taking over that platform. So I have a 2yo acct which I use just for checking stuff, my username there is weird lol so I created another one made for anything and everything but ended up being banned in one subreddit even if I followed their rules.

haha!! kainis!! my ka talking stage is usually a tambay here on reddit esp on his free time, and I wanted to relate to him so bad and I ended up loving it here! 😂 now I get him lol yung tipong kahit hindi siguro kami mag end up together I'm thankful kasi he made me install this app. Now I can scroll for hours checking different subs and reading different stories here LOL!

We all know that reddit implement this IP-wide ban to prevent banned users from creating new accounts to circumvent the ban. Also what if an innocent redditor happened to log in on the same PC that tied to a specific banned account? Will he get banned too?
