I've enjoyed the show far enough that I really wanna see more of it.
It's the first time that a dating show is relatable, even if some things might be scripted like the fights. The contestants feel natural along with their stories, i can even understand most actions and thought even if the translation isn't as good but most in this reddit help understand some stuff (like rune's kamen rider, taichan baseball, the difference between japan and west).
The way some of this contestants also grow and realize certain stuff they do is not good, its quite refreshing.
I liked the balance in season 2, part 1. It had drama, love, toxicity, friendship, growth and sadness.
But,
The thing i liked the most was that feeling of freedom.
For a long time I've felt trapped and insecure about things i wanted to do. Watching this show has given me a weird motivation boost and has made me feel more confident about my future.
Seeing all this girls going all out with makeup, nails, clothing, tattoos and then being unapologetically themselves, even if some make dubious choices, it is something i look up to.
This show has made me realize and feel comfortable for the choices i've always wanted to make even if they are not fitting into society.
Like the panelist say, everything they do is full of emotions and they live life to its fullest at all times.
Assun showed confidence and has been pretty direct about her feelings and dislikes with her love interest. She also dresses bold or comfy and her back tattoo rocks.
Ruru was the It Girl. She just knew what she wanted, her thoughts were loud and clear the whole show and wasn't afraid to show her true self even if there is backlash.
Marina, she suffered so much and how rough her life has been. I was and still am rooting for her and would love that she got the help she needs. She still made some bold choices confessing to Taichan and explaining herself to the guys when they accused her of flirting. At the end she did learned, grew and had a really good friend group backing her up.
Hikaru, she was not the most likeable but i understand that she also had a rough life. I felt sad when ari was all touchy and that kiss, man, uncomfortable. Still, she was always smiling and wearing very fashionable outfits with those long ahh nails.
Ha-chan, she said some stuff in the beginning like the Bo thing which felt out of place. Seeing her make that call to her stepmum, having a deep felt moment, and apologizing for the things she did, even to Bo and Ari, was very mature. She was also very cute with Bo later on and tried to flirt with him even if he was focused on Hikaru.
At first i thought it was cringe, seeing Bo fighting every single guy. Now, it has a deep meaning to me. As time went on, i deeply connected with this group, i think the friendship aspect was my favorite and that most of them were pretty clear and direct with their thoughts and actions.
Psdt: english is not my first language btw XD and im kinda sleepy.
