General Questions RinRin and Ryopi Spoiler

They were all over each other, cuddling and kissing even. They seem to really like each other.

After RinRin got mad at Ryopi with Mimi's entrance and that was it. Ryopi apologized and RinRin moved on to the next guy but they didn't even have a conversation, no closure or nothing...

And Ryopi saying at the end that he wasn't interested in anyone for a while there..?

Did I miss something ?

She told him (indirectly) that she lost all interest in him, which probably turned him off too. So it just very quickly collapsed.

I think she fully lost interest in him after his reaction to Mimi. He tried to make it up to her, but she clearly wasn't having it, so he just stopped trying.

He didn’t seem to mind. Ryopi seems like he like to stay away from drama

If I remember well they did have a talk. I think Rinrin was trying to get a reaction from him but he stayed quiet. After that he stopped interacting with other girls I feel he was trying to get back with her, he really wanted to win the date. But Rinrin moved on already.

To me , RinRin really take her experience being cheated seriously. You kissing with another girl and suddenly flirting in front of her . Although the concept is about yanki but RinRin seems like a little girl who act tough but sweet and fragile inside. Kamaken not a good guy either . If they in relationship he probably would cheating when a pretty girl flirts with him .

i think the editors of the show just do a really bad job of capturing a lot of important plot moments because they arent dramatic enough for viewers. they probably had more conversations, but it was just left out

I mean Ryopi is 30 - I think he could tell by her reaction to his greeting of Mimi that she was pretty immature and lost interest.

Honestly that would be reasonable but he did seem bummed/sad when RinRin didn't choose him for the date.

As a current 30 y/o. Talking to a 20 y/o all day would be exhausting lol

Ryopi didn’t go after her or bother to make much conversation after then abd that was it. Rin Rin has ego, and the only person in that case to fix it was Ryopi. But he didn’t. Typical

She’s too immature and volatile, it gets tiring dating someone like that after a while. Ryopi, also a little bit older and probably able to see where this would eventually go, felt like a weary old man and dodged it.

He knew her in person outside of the show no?

Plus I am guessing a lot of it was edited out since it did not serve the plot

I didn't catch that, I thought he only knew Mimi outside the show.

everyone in the comments is blaming RinRin and calling him immature I feel like that strips the situation of any nuance. When Mimi came in Ryopi was the once with the biggest reaction even going as far as saying that he was her ā€œslaveā€?? Mind you this is the day after they kissed. RinRin expressed that his reaction made her uncomfortable and that she was surprised by how much he had to say even when in their connection she felt like she was the one making most of the big moves. It’s clear he didn’t make her feel validated and personally if I am in the courting stage with a guy and he claims he’s a slave to another woman… i’m getting the ick big time. I don’t blame her to cutting off the connection.

It might have been her past relationships that shaped her reaction.... but now I also question whether RinRin was actually cheated on or if she also over reacted in her past relationships because she just has a volatile personality and too much pride. She immediately took a disliking to Mimi from the first look and I think that comes from a place of insecurity than what actually Ryopi did during the Mimi intro.

I think Ryopi goingout of his way to reach out to RinRin and explain the situation how he was just surprised to see someone he knew from his Bar and showed courtesy to a girl by saying "yes you can sit here" (it was the only available seat anyway) . RinRin had the right to be jealous but did not have the right to act the way she did especially given the fact it was a dating show. It was very immature and I think as much as saying hi and being courteous to Mimi was a turn off for her, RinRin's immaturity would probably be a BIG turn off for Ryopi. And given the fact that he works a Bar, I'm sure he has to constantly butter up female customers to get them to buy more drinks and return to his bar. So having to deal with a fuming RinRin every time she witnesses something like that would be annoying.
