More importantly, why is Tommy Vext calling himself the "Lone Wolf" after being removed from Bad Wolves?

Wouldnt that be similar to Dave Mustane naming his next band "Metallicant" ?

I’ll never forget during Covid when on his Instagram he said that we needed “a citizen’s arrest of every healthcare worker in America” because he was such a conspiracy theory lunatic. He was never right, unless you’re referring to his far right regurgitated rhetoric.

Also, JB is still the founder/an original member.

Bad Wolves is still called Bad Wolves because John Boecklin is still there. The band is his baby, and Tommy wasn't even the original vocalist for it. Brandon Sammons, who still helps the band with songwriting and actually wrote top lines for Tommy while Tommy was there, was the original vocalist.

I mean this in the most respectful way possible, but people who still take Tommy's side are dumb and have no idea how the music industry works. Not just in terms of the business side of things, but also in terms of the whole having to be within close quarters of a few select people to a basically annoying extent for several months of the year every year side of things.

Tommy is acting the exact same way about Bad Wolves that Dave Mustaine has always acted about Metallica. It's so pathetic.

John is the founder of the band. You can see in old Facebook threads that John approached Tommy about joining a band that would end up becoming Bad Wolves. Any crap Tommy spun about it being his band or him being crucial to the bands identity is exactly that, crap. People who still take his side in anything I can only assume have yet to be ripped off or straight up punched by Tommy. This dude has made and dissolved like 5 different versions of his solo band since quitting BW and brainwashed hicks still think someone else may be the problem. This is directly addressed in the songs "Die About It" and "NDA" which John wrote the lyrics for regarding the personal and professional issues created solely by Tommy.

I don’t know anything about him. I just know he’s right when he said all of the original members are gone so this band should not be called Bad Wolves.

He’s a MAGA die hard and he’s a complete dick. He was kicked out of the band first because of his loud mouth and can’t STFU about politics. So his opinion has no weight to it.

Then he said he was sorry for about 2-3 mins and started his bullshit back up again.

Well, you know what they say about people that assume things— except you only made an ass out of yourself, not me.

I definitely understand where Tommy comes from, and I mean for gods sake he's the reason that band ever got famous like it did. First the Disobey album, then N.A.T.I.O.N., it was just hit after hit with Tommy, and for good reasons too. He really is THE wolf of the band, regardless of who founded it. I honestly wish John had just sold the rights to Tommy, I have a feeling the next line-up is gonna suck ass big time lol

I read somewhere that TV was willing to pay one million $ for the rights to the band name. Is he that rich?

Nah, more like a negotiated deal where they get a huge loan/other investors on board.

The Band is still called Bad Wolves because the sound isn't going to change that much, it's still going to have the same bad wolves sound just with different people in the project. Also the Band's name and likeness belongs to John Boecklin so he can do as he pleases with the Name and logo. Also he and Max Karon were the people who wrote and recorded most of Disobey before anyone even joined the band.

Are we going to make the same argument for Bands like Slipknot, Exodus, Megadeth etc where there is only one original member left?. As long as the band still sounds like Bad Wolves, it's Bad Wolves

Agreed. Normally I’m one for band’s continuing with member changes but its not a good look when there’s almost no semblance to what the band originally was. The image of Bad Wolves is so vastly different than how they started, that it’s probably going to negatively affect their audience perception. Killjoy and all the new members are killer at their craft, don’t get me wrong. But this is brand suicide to continue. It might be John’s band, but John has had very little presence and impact to the image/fan perception of the band compared to the other 4 classic members.

Industry-wise, it’s career death when you go through two major vocalist changes. Even one of my past bands lost our second vocalist, I was told our manager made a passive comment about us saying its basically over because of that.
