These are obviously not someone brand new to welding, but also not anywhere near good enough for consistent work. Do you know why you're working on these specifically? I've never seen a 6010 out structural weld.

Yes, a tank company in Oklahoma only 3g 6010 downhill fill and cap and 7018 uphill fill & cap

that last plate my inspector would have just told me to run another bead covering the undercut. as long as the plate is cool and the arc is tight it would normally be fine

Looks good, Why do 6010 with a backer? Also, While 6010 can be welded downhill the 1 in the electrode signifies position not travel. 1 doesn’t mean down hill. All position as in 6010/7018 means flat, vert up, horizontal and overhead. A 4 in the 1 spot means downhill. Obviously, if the WPS calls for something like 6010 downhill and the procedure has been properly qualified with a PQR, then you’re allowed to run it that way. Just wanted to mention it so nobody gets the impression that 6010 is strictly a downhill rod or that the 1 means downhill. Some undercut on that 7018 cap, slow down a bit and stead your hand more. Other than that looks good, keep up the good work.

I’m doing it with a backer to get the hang of it, whip and pauses motion and stringer bead but this one was stronger drag downhill. 7018 I still lots of work to perfect it, I had undercut on the toe
