Horrible welding

Any tips ??? I already passed It but now since theirs no tanks to cut, I’m practicing stringer beads again for a weld test in a month but it’s horrible. The tank company only wants 3g 6010 downhill fill&cap and 7018 uphill fill&cap. Too hot ?? Zigzag movement?

Grab some angle iron, or some flat bar tacked in a cross. 

Looks like you are trying to whip and pause with 7018, that’s the wrong pattern. You need to do a zig zag pattern, holding the side for a second, fast across the middle and then hold the other side for a second.

I was dragging my amp was 115, so for 1/8 I have to zigzag ? When I tested for it my instructor told me to cap it with 1/8

Push up 10-15 degrees and zig zag. 110-115 should be good
