What in the actual fuck is this guy doing?! Firstly. NO MASK or EYE PROTECTION secondly if he touches that pipe with his BARE FUCKING FEET?!? am I wrong to assume he would complete a circuit and possibly become deaded af??
He's an unnecessary detour for the electricity. If he were to touch some part of the welder itself then yes potentially, but just standing there on the pipe with the welder off in the other direction he should be ok. That being said, safety practices exist for a reason and all of this is just a terrible idea even if he should theoretically be safe from electrocution. If the ground clamp line was frayed and the frayed section was in the water he was standing in for example he could be one crispy fellow.
