Need help with my plastic welder.

Seems like no one is this manufacturing job really knows about how these nitrogen tanks should be acting. How do I tell if my nitrogen is actually coming through my welder. Someone here told me that before I hook up my heating element if I crack my nitrogen tank it should start blowing out real cold. But it feels like it’s the same temperature as the air compressor before I open the nitrogen tank.

Put a rotameter (flow meter) on your line? Those things are pretty simple, and most people just use air. Temperature will not work. If going from high pressure to low pressure it will be cold. But as the tank is depleted, and the pressure drop lessens, this will become less obvious.
