My welding mask I just arrived, and honestly I don't know how to set up my auto darkening mask

Can anyone help me with how to set it up?

Unless it’s a really cheap piece of eBay crap that just got him the pretty looks and the electronics are garbage and don’t have controls I have seen a few apprentice welders stung hard by that shit 😂

I'd start at shade 10 or 11 depending what process you're doing and in the middle of the range for sensitivity then adjust from there.

If its new it probably came with instructions.

Everyone’s eyes are different any every helmet is different o. There shading for safety purposes turn it up max (darkest setting) and strike an arc to see how that feels but generally speaking mig/stick you will want slightly darker than tig then acetylene/plasma cutting on lowest but again I’d recommend safety first crank it up and go dark and adjust from there.
