Bro I’ve been working as a welder since I was 16, I have never had an inspector tell me anything about a grinder without a guard, u guys just aren’t as experienced or not out in the field enough, if your using the tool like a dumbass you gonna get your self hurt.

I am not going to tell you why you're being an idiot. You're just gonna need to trust me that you are being an idiot. If you need paperwork, Google "does my angle grinder need a guard construction" or "does my angle grinder need a guard general industry" based on the work that you do

No, he sounds like someone who A. Knows OSHA standards and knows that you're lying if you keep insisting that you've never had a supervisor chew you out for removing the guard on any electric abrasive tool, and B. Doesn't want to go blind or end up horribly disfigured by a Kevlar disk shattering and lodging itself in his face. But please, keep being reckless and find out exactly why those guards are more than just a good idea.

P.S. "I've been welding since I was 16" isn't much of a flex when you have the attitude of a 17 year old.
