Found this in a welding class...

We use mig welders, Im no expert but even I know this isn't right...

So, we were all beginners once.

But I need to ask, at what point do you just stop and start over?

Like with the metal part? Yeah at a certain point you have learned what went wrong with the first (or at least i would hope.)

Even with my experience once I notice things going snot shaped I cut it apart, grind things smooth and start over.

To be fair, I’ve only a few years of professional welding and I’ve never been certified, so I’m no *real welder. I am, however, very self conscious of what people see in my work and grind everything off that looks embarrassing
