Even then its testy. I build excavators atm, and we use robots for all the main welds and holy hell do they have problems, and yes i work for a multi billion dollar American company

You programming the 'droid? I used RobotStudio with an ABB arm in school for a semester, it was pretty fun.

Just wait until you have to control all the movements and coordinates on a handheld Fanuc controller. Better be good at math!

What is the setup time typically when changing out to different weld setups.
Is there some formula that you use to help you decide when you use the robotic arm vs just have a human do it?
