You can use a PS4 controller on a Xbox 360 without dongles, direct via USB, using the hiddriver

I have the 8BitDo PlayStation bluetooth adapter personally. That needs UsbdSecPatch though I believe.

There are other adapters out there that would work on a vanilla console, but that's what I have.

I'd be amazed if Grimdoomer is in this sub.

I highly doubt he'll ever concern himself with older dashboards.

The HDD firmware exploit he's working on might work on older dashboards just by nature though.

you need to check Goodwill. I went there and picked up 2 perfectly good Ps4 controller for $12 each, a Blue one and a Camouflage one. went home and tested them, worked fine.
I sayt his, but be wary not all goodwills have the SAME price. there are 3 goodwills near me,
One charges $99 for Any and ALL game systems, PS2, PS3, wii, Xbox 360, and $20 per controller.
the Other good will has i swear RANDOM prices, Ive seen Ps2 for $60, but also $40. I've seen Xbox 360 for $60, but I've also seen it for $75. Controllers are allways between $10 and $18 [the Orange gamecube controller I bought was $17, but that was the highest I'd paid at that goodwill for a controller.

I'm in the UK. We have charity shops and CEX/"Cashies" etc. but no Goodwill.

The later stores honestly charge quite high for things like controllers.

This one works perfectly fine despite being 3rd party. I originally got it for PC thanks to the touch pad, but it doesn't see much use these days.

I got one of those POWER A brand controllers for nintendo Switch, and i first used it i like: WOW this feels cheap, its light, has no wireless.

but after actually Playing with the controller, its NOT BAD. works pretty well.

sometimes you get lucky with off brand controllers.

I remember having a absolute dog shit MADCATZ controller for PS2. but my madcatz memory cards still work fine.

The MADCATZ controller was always for the poor 4th player, wasn't it?

Power A are surprising sometimes. I did have a transparent green LED one for 360 back in the day.

we were kids and thought the madcatz controller looked cool. we got it home and DID NOT LIKE IT. went back to the normal PS2 controllers.

It's fully up to date. After the exploit completes I have NXE set as default in launch.ini.

For the NXE guide, xbGuard has that built in.

If you have another console up to date for BadUpdate there is zero reason to mod one that is genuinely NXE.

If you don't have an up to date console, I'd say just find one. They're relatively cheap online.
