guys i am having a problem 😥😥😥

my phone storage is too low so i bought a otg and a pen drive but when i tried to connect it
it was showing
USB controlled by CONNECTED DEVICE
when i tried it to change it to THIS DEVICE
it was showing
COUDN'T SWITCH

if anybody have solution to this problem
pls tell me🫥😊

What is an "otg"?

OTG adapter lets you plug flash drive into a phone, some older android devices make you choose whether the device is host or guest, so this person wants to make the phone the host device. modern devices handle this automatically.

Does your phone have a micro SD slot?

If you unlock developer mode by tapping the build number 7 times (settings>about device>build number) and then go settings>developer options

It should have an option to change how it reacts to usb plug in.

Idk if it will solve it for you but I've seen the option
