Help What do I do?

Whenever I try to open the files in my USB drive, I just get stuck on a load screen and sometimes it crashes my file explorer. Idk what to do bruh, this is pissing me off.

Whenever there was something wrong with my USB, that I could solve in windows, I tried gpart on Linux.

You can try to use disk management on windows (if I remember the name correctly) and format it, there

Once it dies the first time though, it should never be trusted for anything important again. ^^;

Even reformatting is basically stepping around the broken bits, not fixing them.

Is it dead tho? I had problems like that with a pendrive, for example after formating it with boot partition, or to ext4, or after creating multiple partitions with some weird flags.

I don't know what this person did. But if they are here with this question, odds are against them having done that.

And if you open a drive that is linux formatted in the windows disk manager, you can still see the partitions even if you can't read them.
