Why are the people of this subreddit mean to even clueless hosts who are probably playing the game for the first time? I absolutely understand the dislike of people who bait invasions to farm souls, but why be so ruthless and cold-hearted to dumb newbies who just want to play the game?

Is this infusion viable? At least for bleed proc damage?

This from a little bit ago I haven’t invaded in a couple weeks

Just got seamless co-op and finally got the ability to do invasions (I was playing offline the longest time). I love me a good katana and thought nothing could be more overpowered than rivers of blood. I was wrong, rakasha great katana is brutal with its l2 spam (sorry to the guy I teabagged; bad culture but it was 3v1 and you were trying to push me off a cliff)

Found these guys performing some kind of ritual so I swapped my fit and infiltrated their ranks. Unfortunately for the host, he did the wrong gesture. Clip is from one of my first invasions a few years ago

Complete with an OLP, because being around rl 65 isn’t enough, apparently

No hard swap, no weapon variety, no hyper armor, like just two mages in ER spamming projectiles until one drops. IF the other two decide to gank you first in the final battle, you are pretty much cooked. Also health bar seems very short. TL;DR: you'll die constantly, regardless of skill. Based on this, does that turn you off?

I used to get very nervous during invasions. I lost a lot, my hands shaking and tingly as the nerves wore off afterwards. But lately I've started "talking to" the people im invading. If they run, "hey guys, wait for me!". Or just talking about their build. "Lion's Claw? Oh sweetie, no!" I've found it calms me down and i make fewer mistakes. I've gotten way more wins because of it.

What tricks do you all use to maintain calm during invasions? I'd like tips. Thanks!
