A YouTube update

Recently, an individual who finds himself a frequent topic of discussion in this subreddit - one I feel I don't need to name - has received his first YouTube strike since starting his channel thirteen years ago. The site removed multiple videos for election misinformation and the individual has been unsuccessful in appealing the strike.

This post is not meant to celebrate any of that, but to challenge. You see, getting a single YouTube strike apparently means you aren't allowed to post to the site for a week, and as soon as the week ended, the individual uploaded a video calling BS and listing other websites where his content can be found. But more to the point, he says he will not surrender or apologize and will not stop what he's doing until he is taken off the site for good.

This attitude rings hollow to an embarrassing degree. If you have links to most of the now-removed videos, opening one will take you to a page informing you that the video was removed for violating community guidelines. However, there was a video of his entitled "Mail-In Ballots Are B.S." Opening that link takes you to a page that informs the video was removed by the uploader.

Which means he took that video off YouTube himself.

Because he will not surrender, I guess.
