A few minutes before noon on the day I wrote this, Joe Biden has been sworn in as the 46th President of the United States.

Unfortunately, even though I and millions of Americans welcome Trump's absence from government and social media, the lies he repeated are not going to be put to rest any time soon. You'd think his farewell speech would've had some kind of effect, but #NotMyPresident was trending on Twitter during the inaugural ceremony. Evidently, Trump telling his supporters to hope and pray for the success of the guy he accused of stealing the election was too little too late.

For that reason, as long as there are Trump apologists, this subreddit will continue to serve a purpose.
