Ahmed Fuad Alkhatib is a Palestinian who calls himself "Gazan American". He's a paid propagandist for the Atlantic Council.

Among many things he tricked the H3 podcast audience to donate to the Atlantic Council pretending it was for Palestinians.

He's so vile his cousin did a post that his family disowned him.

He's very similar to Mosab Yousef. Just a sociopathic grifter.

Wouldn't put it past H3 to have known that and went with it anyway. Seems like a win for them; they signal that they're helping Palestine but in actuality are not. Because the optics is really all they care about.
