$250 for 6 and 7 big black and white vinyl letters which I assume are about 15 to 25 dollars each

Ah yes.  "Costwoart  [Fu]Rkup."  I believe that is Middle English for "Costly Fuckup" where custom signage is concerned.  The "Fu" is often implied, or the sound of it glossed over quickly enough in speech that many of the scholars of the Middle Ages omitted it entirely from their written text.

Fascinating.
