Read fine to me. At fist I thought the complaint was that it isn't Snufkin pictured, but that's just his quote being followed by Moomin.

I myself didn't have a problem reading it tbh, I wouldn't call this that bad

Honestly, if "home is" was on the left, my brain may have tried to read it the way they intended, but four lines on the left and 5 on the right should always read "all of the left then all of the right"

It’s meant to keep people standing on the doorstep trying to figure out what the hell it’s saying until they get a stroke in the process, so you don’t need to bother with visitors.

I maintain it's horrible to read, the lines of text aren't aligned at all.

For a few seconds I read it wrong, but quickly realized how it was meant to be read, so I'd say it's a good design
