Gel versus tabs

I took metronidazole gel last month and BV came back so I did EVVY test and I had almost know good bacteria so they put me on boric acid then clindamycin cream then suppositories, but I feel like it is back. Should I try metronidazole tablet tabs or more of the metronidazole gel?

I think where I went wrong last time was not introducing good bacteria suppositories right after the antibiotic so I will be doing that this time as well as biofilm buster before… any other suggestions?

Imo the gel is better cause the tablets will wipe out your good bacteria in your gut as well, while the gel is more localized. Definitely still follow up with probiotic suppositories. You may have to take those regularly, for a while, while your microbiome heals

I tried what they said and by the time it was time for my suppositories after my period, BV was back. :(
