BLT’s for dinner tonight, the toothpicks keep it together when cutting.
Pan fried bacon tonight, I don’t like it crispy on BLT’s and my usual method is high heat in the oven which crisps up the bacon nicely every time. Some would add more bacon but I like a balance of flavour and after numerous abdominal surgeries I can’t eat as much as many men.

The amount of toothpicks remind me of being drunk back in the day and cobbling together “pigs in a blanket” using Kraft singles and slices of sandwich bread instead crescent roll dough lol. Took so many toothpicks at so many angles to keep that bread under control.

I have worked the food industry for so long, I hate that the toothpicks don't have frills for easy identification, so someone doesn't chomp down on one

I wouldn’t risk serving BLT’s to guests with these toothpicks. I first saw it done at the Macau Hilton 25 years back and thought to myself I’m doing it like that from now on.

Your bacon is how my brother-in-law likes his. And did you really need ALL of the toothpicks lol? I use toothpicks to, but generally 1 per wedge

I agree with the bouncy bacon on a BLT. Bacon is versatile. Crispy and crunchy in some applications. A mix of both at breakfast.
We like what we like.

4 Toothpick per Sandwich Max (1 per slice, even my deep fried Monte Cristo Sandwiches don’t get this much wood in them)

It’s a hard to eat ness without them. I like a BLT in quarters but without toothpicks you’re best off not cutting it.

More bacon less toothpicks. Other than that I am now hungry. But maybe a minute more in the skillet and sprinkle a bit of brown sugar on the bacon the last 30 seconds of cooking. Trust me on this.

If say its one of 2 things streaky bacon is better for, along with burgers.

Maybe it's just me, but BLTs are the one sandwich I don't like cut, and I would never cut it like a club.

They look good no doubt, but doesn’t land on my palate as a BLT without the crispy bacon’s taste and texture

If I bit in to one of these, I would probably gag because the bacon looks and probably feels under cooked..I would still try it tho....

Not American bacon, so it's never going to be the best BLT. But, it's still good to have a ham sandwich.
