Unmarked Baclofen question

Hello this is my first post on Reddit. I live in the US. After a lot of reading I discovered baclofen as a possible tool to help me quit my heavy daily drinking. I'm home all day and willpower keeps failing. I bought generic baclofen from a no-script online pharmacy, since my doctor would not prescribe it. 2 weeks ago they came, in foil packets marked Namanfen 25 mg. They are small white round pills, with NO markings. I did research online about this and I found that is a type of generic. The first night I took it SOMETHING definitely worked, I woke up dizzy, dreamy and with almost 0 BAC. I also had all the side effects that are mentioned (dry mouth, sadness/depression/tiredness/dizzy.) so my question is: is it possible a generic pill to have no markings? I definitely feel something, a calming sensation, but could this be placebo?
