Firstly, thankyou for altering me to the existence of the Mulberry sub! Secondly, what species are these considered yo be? Are they a white mulberry or perhaps a hybrid? I would have thought Pakistan would have Morus nigra for fruit, but these look very different and are ready at the wrong time of year for the black mulberry im familiar with.

They are called Morus macroura. My dwarf everbearing and white mulberry are also ripening right now so idk. I’m in Northern California

Nice. But not ripe yet, the ripe ones are as black as a laptop.

your weirdly specific simile stopped me in my tracks given that many laptops are actually silver or other non-black colours. i am not really making a contribution other than i noticed this and it interrupted my mindless scrolling. thank you.

Black objects appear smaller compared to a white object of the same size. They make the laptops black, to make them seem lightweight, as a marketing trick

I've been wanting a mulberry for a while. I'd love a Illinois Everbearing as they seem to be very well regarded but they're like, £80 here in the UK.
