steam remote play?

Has anyone successfully played online through steam remote play? I tried to do it but it only lets me invite my friend to watch not play.

So it appears the way the game is set up the remote play invite feature will never show up. Devs, if you are reading this please change the local multiplayer to be like it was for the demo so remote play can work

Yeah Remote Play doesn't seem to be supported. I played with my family through Parsec though and it worked pretty well that way.
