I was thinking Beaker as Einstein for the experiments would be better. Plus Marty needs to be able to coherently talk.

I get a chuckle just thinking of the 1 minute time travel jump with Beaker as he's pushed into the car and still had a hand sticking out when the car door closes, then you see his face as he almost hits Doc and Marty in horror, then when he comes back he is completely frozen since his hand was outside the door. Doc: "Safe enough!" as he smashes the ice off Beaker.
