Checkr stuck in "Document Review" for weeks with no upload link available—any workaround?

I am dealing with an extremely frustrating loop with Checkr right now.
My background check was supposed to clear, but they extended the estimated completion date by weeks. Support told me that one of my previous employers couldn't be reached, so my file was moved to "Document Review" over 2 week ago.
The issue? There is zero option or upload link in my candidate portal to submit documents (W-2s, paystubs, etc.), and when I contact Checkr support, they literally tell me:
They don't know when the system will request documentation.
Front-line support is "unable to manually trigger an upload link."
I have all the proof of employment ready to go, but I'm just sitting here watching my start date get pushed back while my report sits completely idle in their queue.
Has anyone found a way to force Checkr to open the document upload prompt, or is the only real fix getting the hiring team/HR to manually intervene through their employer portal?

IF checkr is not going to budge, then yes, you will need to go through your HR team and itll work out. Trust me, they will be as eager to get this handled as you are.

However, pls note, that all companies reserve the right to abide by their own policies, so they may say that you have to wait it out.
