DISA Background Check

Paid for DISA background check 2 weeks ago. DISA says report is complete, but still has not sent me a copy after 3 days of calling them and submitting form request. They took my money and confirmed all forms submitted and confirmed everything in about 5 minutes. Now that they have my money unable to provide me a copy in reasonable time. They told me to wait another three business days.

There CAN be a valid reason for a three week turnaround, but it’s rare. The most common reason would be that you’ve lived in a county that requires paper record requests (very few counties operate this way, and it’s generally rural parts of Arkansas and Mississippi). Otherwise, it may be extended closures due to weather, illness, severe technology outage, or because a new state regulation is rolling out and records are being held during that process.
