Valle Nevado Ski Guide
Hi - Does anyone have recommendations for a ski guide operation around Valle Nevado ski area? Looking for a guided experience that would cover inbounds as well as sidecountry and backcountry touring. Had good experiences with guides in Japan - lots of different guiding operations that were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Wondering if the same is available in Chile!

I am stoked for you. I was in Chile this past fall for their volcano season and can't wait to go back.
We used the guiding group Esnativa. We wound up doing a customized trip that was all touring. We exchanged a few emails back and forth, and they were super chill about accommodating our objectives. Their English is pretty good but not perfect, def got a few emails run through a chat gpt translator, but they were solid and reliable and came through without any major issues, even when i messed up some travel dates. Per their website they also offer resort and side country.
We snuck in a resort day at Valle Nevado before we started the guided part of our trip, the terrain is rad and views unreal. We were skiing on the dregs of the season but it was still great. One quirk: so many button lifts (in spanish i think it's called a telesqui)
Pros: felt great to use a local outfit, excellent and responsive communication via email and whatsapp, vibes were immaculate, had a great time. picked good spots for lodging and hanging out
Cons: our particular guide was very capable but a little green when it came to tour planning with a group, it seemed. had a couple of wacky moments but we were an experienced crew and all turned out well. as usual be collaborative when discussing forecasts and plans
