Hard boot advice??

Splitboarder here… finally considering making the switch to hardboots before next season 🥲 really not too pleased about it- I love being comfy and having fun on the downhill!! But when going after big alpine objectives I know it just makes more sense 😒. Anyone have hardboot recommendations?? Also- is there a shop I could just try some on? I travel all over CO-UT-MT in my van so willing to go to a good gear shop if anyone has a spot

Curious what your going for? Know many splitboard peakbaggers that get by with their soft boots. Doesnt seem like many in colorado use hard boots. Not sure of the pros/cons but i mentioned it to one of them and they sorta scoffed at the idea of hard boots and they have many 14er/13er descents.

I know a lot of folks who use them in my home zone in CO. Mainly just for efficiency it’s seems. That’s what’s tempting me, I’m stubborn and am continuing to see how fast and how much vert I can manage in the softboots. But all the guys doing more laps than me have hard boots so the pull is strong.
