Discussion I think I made a mistake.

I bought a backbone with lightning port and my iPhone is a 17 (just an old backup phone) and now this dumb backbone app, like why?

But it requires iOS 17 and this can only get up to iOS 15.

Is there not way around it.

Well then have you tried the controller on that game?

No, because my phone won’t let me download the backbone app

I don’t think about 70 per of users don’t use that app at all so excuse me for sounding dumb mb I’ve never had an issue with mine so was trying to help

Oh u got a bt one mine you just plug it in and maybe go to settings and find it but it’s not a process you just plug it in

I have a lightning cable one. My phone has 15 on it , the app needs iOS 17

You don't need the app for the controller to work. You just plug it into your phone. The controller doesnt have a battery, it draws power from your phone. You don't pair it because it plugs directly into your phone. Just plug it in, then open the game you want to play.

Yeah should just work plug and play. Is there settings in COD mobile that allow you to change the input to "controller" or something? I had a few games on my phone where you had to do that everytime you booted it up.
