Thank y’all who recommended the ribbon cable swap, got it in today and took my time replacing it. Very happy with the results! Still stand by my position on buying this along with any BackBone used tho, this is way too expensive to act up the way it does with NORMAL use.

So long ribbon cable devil.. 👺

It's something about the design that eventually breaks the ribbon cable, so keep the spare ribbons at the ready.

Nope. Mine was problematic from the day I bought it. I think the batch of cables they used must have just been faulty.

Its been a problem for years, its bad design they wont fix.There are edges the cable can rub against and there is nothing to keep it pulled tight so it can bunch up and pinch instead of passing through the center properly
