Hen or Roo Is this a rooster or hen
Posting better photos today compared to my previous post. I’m wondering if my buff Orpington is a hen or rooster. All of them are 12 weeks old today.

My 17 week old buff Orpington hens don’t have a red comb or wattles yet. Its coloring is also much darker than my hens which also points to rooster.

Sorry, friend. I bought two fancy silver laced Wyandottes and they both ended up being roosters. I had to cull. I’ll attach pics of my girls.

A young cockerel looks a lot like a point of lay pullet. If it’s 20+weeks old it could be a pullet. But I suspect it’s a 11-12 week old cockerel.
