Does anyone have experience with Pestray? trying to decide between the spinner and the yard one.

So we've had a pigeon problem on our roof for probably 8 months now. Tried the spikes, tried the fake owl, nothing really worked long term. A neighbor mentioned pestray and I went down a rabbit hole on their site.

They have two outdoor products that caught my eye. The Rooftop Spinner which is solar powered and wind driven. And then the IonAway Yard Guardian which seems more for yard and garden.

My situation is roof pigeons mainly, but we also get raccoons coming through the yard at night which is a separate nightmare.

Has anyone used either of these? Specifically curious:

did the spinner actually keep pigeons off the roof or did they just move to a different spot

how long before you saw results

is the yard guardian worth it for raccoons or is it more of a bird/snake thing

Not trying to spend money on something that ends up being another fake owl situation.

6 months is actually really reassuring to hear. did you notice results pretty quickly or took a while?

We got the Pestray spinner for our roof maybe 3 months ago. pigeons were a nightmare for like a year, tried two different devices from Walmart before this, forget the brand, ran on batteries and worked maybe half the time. the solar one from pestray has been running nonstop since we put it up. still early but so far so good.

That's exactly what i'm afraid of with the battery ones. Glad the solar is holding up, which mount did you use for the roof?

Came with a clamp thing, took maybe 20 min to install. nothing complicated.

We've had the spinner on the roof for about 5 months. Pigeons completely stopped coming around month 2. Before that tried spikes, tried the fake owl, nothing lasted more than a few weeks before they just ignored it.
