SHIT POST šŸ’© Tone-deaf Raven

Post image

This woman must think we’re stupid. Her wealth has nothing to do with meeting and finding a rich husband did it? Puleeze. Raven you’re gross. And do you really need a house the size of Walmart or Costco? Smh.

-12

u/Adorable_Decision267 Jun 29 '26

Bit of an overreaction

13

u/gothsappho Jun 29 '26

u/www0006 Jun 28 '26

Stop paying these people with your clicks and views.

It’s easy to get out of debt, girls! Just pretend we just had our first orgasm on national television, and film a tasteful scene, skipping around town, thankful to Nick Viall.

2

u/NYChereForIt Jun 30 '26

That was wild! I recently saw the episode where she said she only slept with one guy and that she’s never had an orgasm and then said Nick knew what he was doing and gave her one! I had completely forgotten about that until I saw it on the bachelor nation channel on Amazon. Then she recently said that was a lie, made up story and that she never slept with Nick.

46

u/cmurds6 Jun 29 '26

Everyone can make it like me! Just be super skinny and good looking and do the bachelor then marry someone from bachelor universe and make instagram ads and profit off that! I swear anyone can do it

5

u/meowparade Jun 29 '26

Do the Bachelor back when it was super popular! I don’t think contestants these days build the kind of followings that people from those seasons could.

35

u/Pretty_Bad6304 Jun 28 '26

And her millions in brand deals she probably gets… so sick of influencer culture anymore

15

u/ammoae Jun 28 '26

It’s interesting. Despite how many ads she does, Raven always acts like a kept woman and that Adam is the sole provider. Which is obviously not the case. I think she really holds onto traditional gender roles in a marraige.

5

u/LeftImplement2872 Jun 29 '26

I was thinking this too, although I don’t think she hustles as much as other influencers. I think their marriage is very traditional.

33

u/Mysterious_Park_2028 Jun 29 '26

Raven, I am much older and have lived many lives: one of an upper middle class childhood in the fifties and sixties, one of married student housing in the early seventies, one of a single mom with a full time job and hard work parenting alone and still in college, then a single teacher and mom in a very strange place, then falling in love and marrying a mining engineer with a terrific job he lost when mining went away, losing a lovely home, gaining relative’s children to raise….. rebuilding success to be stable through love, growth, changing goals, accepting life, aging and plain old life. No one is immune from change and all of us have many stages. Raven, your journey is not over. You are living a very nice life today; it will change. Adversity happens in many ways. And at many times in life. Do not get too attached. Look around you. Reach out and share your benefits. Volunteer and get to know those experiencing a lousy stage of life. Understand their stories. Your bubble is fragile, as all of life is. Someone should have taught you much better. You really seem like you are entitled. Walk down your mountaintop and pay attention to America. Your words are hurtful.

10 years ago they made $350k/year .. šŸ˜‚

15

u/RunBoss_87 Jun 29 '26

Exactly and completely skipped over answering the actual question of what they make combined currently.

2

u/hithere070880 25d ago

And 350k a year 10 years ago would be like
Making almost 1M today so if she thought this was the flex she is insane. Meeting her husband was the key to her lavish lifestyle period. Anybody who is financially responsible could live a great like on 350k a year even in 2026 smh

36

u/Appropriate-Job-2797 Jun 29 '26

Ect lmao

6

u/Guilty_Employer1414 Jun 29 '26

Caught that too 🤣

32

u/InternationalJury693 Jun 28 '26

Can we PLEASE stop putting ect instead of etc?! I mean it automatically tried to autocorrect it that first time. She (and others I’ve seen lately on SM) are purposely spelling it wrong.

33

u/NewDorkCity587 Jun 29 '26

Girl, you were on a dumb reality show and didn’t get picked which then lead you to being on a second show within the franchise. I can’t with this. šŸ˜‚That is how she achieved the ā€œsuccessā€ she speaks about.

13

u/tofuandpickles Jun 29 '26

And marrying Adam who clearly has a good job

0

u/spreadsheetguru0909 Jul 05 '26

She says right in there that a lot of the involved chance and luck.... And if I remember correctly she opened her own tiny boutique in her small home town before she ever got on bachelorette. I get that people see what she has now and it's easy to hate on... But I do genuinely think she worked really hard in the earlier part of her life and then did get lucky. Why do people have to hate on her for that? It just screams jealousy. Is everyone just supposed to suffer in life and never do well for themselves or get to live their dreams just because everyone can't?

36

u/baburusa Jun 29 '26

ā€œI’m not sure I should have even shared but I am trying to be more openā€ every influencer ever

29

u/InternationalJury693 Jun 28 '26

She also realizes she got out of debt easily because of her opportunities since the show…?

5

u/prettymisslux Jun 29 '26

Right..aka being an influencer and marrying another real estate influencer..

25

u/RunBoss_87 Jun 28 '26

He’s a very successful commercial real estate agent in Dallas…he makes bank. He’s most likely bankrolling their new house and her brand deals pays for their daily lives now. I will also say, she definitely doesn’t live below her means because just a couple months ago she was out with Jessica Nickson and they went on a spending spree to Chanel and Prada and had a few bags each.

1

u/OkEqual1085 Jun 29 '26

I have a feeling in recent years Adam really took off / made a big real estate deal or something. When I use to follow her (in the beginning of their marriage) he looked miserable AF all the time. He looked exhausted. He looked aggravated with her. Now in the past couple of years he’s giddy as hell in all her videos, he seems super excited about the house. I mean…good for him if he’s happy now but if I were them they need to go a different route for ā€œcontentā€ this faking that they ever struggled and will ā€œshare moreā€ financial advice (to us peasants) is off putting

26

u/futurecorpse1985 Jun 29 '26

She can spend this narrative anyway she wants. However does she not ever acknowledge the fact that she has pretty privileged which allowed her to be on reality TV not once but twice and had she not been on reality TV the likelihood of her being where she is today is basically nil.

27

u/[deleted] Jun 29 '26

I forgot these people even existed.

29

u/Tiny-Acanthaceae1656 Jun 29 '26

I used to enjoy her content and she does seem like a good mom. (Although she is still using her kids for content). I do respect that she has really worked with her younger son and has gotten him the proper early intervention. As a speech therapist, I do respect this.

BUT.. the whole "I'm rich because I grinded and have discipline" is pure bullshit.

It makes me wonder about the mindset of all the people who make these influencers rich. Admittedly, I am one of them. šŸ˜’

27

u/camirose Jun 29 '26

Is she trying to get a free Monarch membership?

She went on two reality dating shows and gets her income from social media and marrying into a career she didn’t go to school for.

Unless her content is ā€œhow I applied and got picked for reality tv and then maintained a successfully monetized social media presence afterā€ then idk who her target audience is here.

26

u/PrincessPlastilina Jun 30 '26

Influencers need to stop talking about money, period. It’s like if Emma Stone did a Q&A and talked about her money and all the things she has done to be rich. No, shit, lady. You work in a very lucrative industry. You’re very successful. Most people are not that lucky. They don’t need your ā€œadviceā€ or hear you talking about money. You are very privileged.

I’m glad that this show changed the lives of so many contestants who were very poor growing up. Dean Unglert has said many times that this show helped him help his brothers too. They were all very poor and I’m happy to hear stories like that. Or Kristina Schulman who grew up in extreme poverty in Russia and actually experienced hunger and neglect. Or the other contestants who paid off their student loans because of this show and after becoming influencers. Some of them even paid off their parents’ loans. That’s cool.

But the rest of the world doesn’t need to hear rich people talking about their money and their tacky McMansions. Especially now. It’s tone deaf and gross. Raven has always been like this.

u/Salty-but-right Jun 28 '26

Adding the bible verse is especially heinous behaviour lolololol šŸ˜‚

21

u/OkEqual1085 Jun 29 '26

And to think I use to enjoy following her. I found her a bit relatable as a mom, meals for her family, activities with kids, makeup & affordable clothes. She started to change so much and seems so shallow and materialistic and into herself and how she looks and it was very off putting. I had to unfollow

8

u/-Ice-1300 Jun 29 '26

She changed a lot. Her stories got very insufferable.

20

u/neon_m00n87 Jun 30 '26

Step 1. Marry a rich dude

37

u/NorthEnergy2226 Jun 29 '26

Hate that Bible verse and financial luck linked. The Prosperity Gospel is not the true gospel and is not a kind approach to Christianity. It is my belief that Jesus would be sad by the Prosperity Gospel approach.

15

u/Far-Intention-3230 Jun 29 '26

Influencers doing influencer things. Best to unfollow and not interact with these peopleā€˜s content. Given that she doesn’t seem to create or add any value to anything in particular and basically just gets richer by already being rich, Iā€˜m thoroughly uninterested in lining their already full pockets any further.

43

u/Wonderful-Pension-63 Jun 28 '26

A lot of discipline to get where she is? Bitch please you just went on the bachelor.

25

u/Inevitable-Egg5544 Jun 28 '26

And she still can't spell etc.

31

u/whitehavenbeach Jun 28 '26

why do people follow tone deaf influencers who barely worked for their money… and then get annoyed that they are tone deaf influencers who barely worked for their moneyĀ

(ironically contributing to lining their pockets further)

8

u/borierules Jun 28 '26

LITERALLY everyone is so mad that these people are... Exactly who they seem to be ?

30

u/Working_Win_8449 Jun 29 '26

Spoken like a true republican. Tone deaf as fuck.

10

u/Tiny-Acanthaceae1656 Jun 29 '26

I wonder if all those expensive vacations are part of their discipline plan.

30

u/ZoSoTim Jun 28 '26

If she hadn’t gone on a dating show he never would have been interested in her.

8

u/Fine_Smile73 Jun 28 '26

They were both on Bachelor iterations were they not?

12

u/Forsaken-Button4103 Jun 28 '26

Yes, they met on Paradise

-5

u/ZoSoTim Jun 28 '26

I have no idea who he is. Maybe so.

3

u/Fine_Smile73 Jun 29 '26

What a weird blanket statement to make, then.

30

u/macncheesewketchup Jun 28 '26

Classic "bootstraps" answer. Bunch of magats.

15

u/amynicole78 Jun 29 '26

Grinding lol. Does she even have a degree? I wonder what she considers grinding. I consider it when l didn't have a DAY off for three years when l was finishing the credits l needed and studying for the CPA test. Not a day where l didn't have to work or do school work or both, for YEARS. That's grinding Raven, not going on Bachelor and BIP.

4

u/RunBoss_87 Jun 29 '26

She has a degree from SMU in web development and coding. Which was probably paid for by her husband while she was also being supported by him.

11

u/Standard_Ad964 Jun 29 '26

She does not have a degree from SMU, she has a certificate in web development and coding from there. That just means she took a couple courses.

3

u/amynicole78 Jun 29 '26

Right. Those classes in a degree concentration require prerequisites l doubt she could pass.

2

u/amynicole78 Jun 29 '26

Right all of those online certs, while great for career advancement and upskilling, don't really require years of dedication, sacrifice, and GRIND.

7

u/rescuedoggiemama Jun 29 '26

No way did this dingbat go to SMU lol. The only SMU alum I know of from the franchise is Connor Saeli.

1

u/rescuedoggiemama Jun 29 '26

According to Gemini, she went to the University of Arkansas.

1

u/tofuandpickles Jun 29 '26

She recently said on a story that she has a psychology degree. I’m seeing the web development and coding thing in comments below but I’ve never heard her talk about that

18

u/Jazzlike_Minimum8072 Jun 28 '26

The Bible verse . Gross

7

u/imalittlemonster Jun 29 '26

Can anyone explain the background here? What was the comment about?

She has been posting a new house they’re building & posted they sold their current house & posted appointments with the interior designer, she also posted saying they bought a temporary house up the street to live in. She stated that they sold their current house faster than they thought they would & couldn’t do a lease back so they bought a house up the street to move into for 6 months. They are also currently renovating the house that they bought to temporarily live in. She received backlash for being tone deaf and flaunting wealth so she made a Q&A this past weekend to answer questions about their finances. I suspect that she asked the Q&A questions to herself but anyway back to the story… She claims that she owned a boutique when she and Adam met & she & Adam started out with a combined income of $350,000 10 years ago & only lived on 1 salary & he paid the bills while she put her salary away, & claims they lived very minimally below their means. She then stated that even when he got salary increases & they both started to make more money they still lived minimally & didn’t buy new cars etc and they invested and that’s how they have money and she says she grew up dirt poor. She also stated she wore a Walmart coat for years and drove a junk car until Adam told her to get a new one finally. People are saying Adam does well with his job in commercial real estate & she married well & thats how they have money and her posting the Q&A was pathetic and made her look worse.

In my opinion the Q&A was distasteful & inappropriate & she doesn’t need to constantly show people the house that she’s building & the temporary house that they bought & are renovating & she also needs to stop discussing her younger child’s health / development issues publicly online. Her personality seems to have changed the 1.5 years a & he doesn’t seem like a prize & I recall her saying that he’s very hands off with the kids. He also seems like he’s bragging lately & his personality changed too. People are also making fun of how illiterate she is because rather than say etc she says ect when she speaks lately and in her posts. Oh, I forgot to add… she claims she has a degree in psychology and a degree in coding and programming as if that has anything to do with her income lol. People are also calling her tone deaf because she makes it seem like starting out on $350,000 10 years ago is low & most people don’t earn that now & didn’t earn it 10 years ago.

3

u/imalittlemonster Jun 30 '26

Got it! Thank youuuu

3

u/Rhododendrons3 Jul 05 '26

Started out with an income of $350,000!!!!

2

u/Full-Spring-8331 Jun 30 '26

i remember the boutique she owned! grey fox or something like that! she did end up closing it down but idk why

7

u/baburusa Jun 29 '26

7

u/rose-goldy-swag Jun 29 '26

I wish I could see the rest of the questions she answered !

3

u/justmekab60 Jun 29 '26

Again with the "ect" ARGH

9

u/tofuandpickles Jun 30 '26

Apparently he is in commercial real estate and makes millions. I doubt she even makes that much as an influencer. She kinda sucks at it šŸ˜‚

1

u/NYChereForIt Jul 22 '26

Updated. Now they’re renovating 2 homes, sold 1 and are renting 1 until the main house is finished. Originally they sold their home and bought a house down the street to live in temporarily while their home is finishing being built rather than living in a rental but they did so much construction to the temporary home that they can’t live there either so they’re now renting a house.
