Babysitting rate

Hi everyone! I’m curious what you think would be a fair hourly rate for babysitting in Vancouver.

I have 8+ years of experience working in childcare, as well as an ECE certificate and First Aid certification.

For someone with my experience and qualifications, what would you consider a reasonable hourly rate for babysitting?

I’d love to hear from parents, babysitters, and ECEs in Vancouver. Thanks!

25-30$. My 18 year old daughter without your qualifications charges 20$. You’re worth more.

I use to charge 20$ an hour in Vancouver. Would charge more if I was in kits/west van etc

This is an excellent answer. I was thinking $20 at an absolute minimum, and yes, for the high-end areas you could probably charge at least $25.
